Fascial Manipulation trainings in Berlin are held at the physiotherapy school SPEKTRUM AKADEMIE, located at Tino-Schwierzina-Str. 32, 13089 Berlin (Weissensee district). Within a few hundred meters from the school, there are dining options as well as the Sedes hotel, which is often chosen by participants for accommodation.
Giorgio Rucli was a lecturer at the University of Udine (UNIUD) from 2008 to 2018, teaching “Manual Therapy for Physiotherapists.” He learned the Fascial Manipulation method directly from its creator, Luigi Stecco, in 1996. Giorgio was a member of the Italian national athletics team, specializing in the 400-meter hurdles and decathlon. He worked for five years with the Udinese football team and a basketball team.
Currently, he practices at a clinic in Udine, Italy, together with four other physiotherapists, all of whom use the Fascial Manipulation method. As an international instructor, Giorgio Rucli teaches the Stecco method in many countries around the world.
Giorgio Rucli conducts courses in both Level I and Level II of Fascial Manipulation. Both levels focus on the treatment of musculoskeletal dysfunctions. Each level consists of 6 days of training, divided into two three-day modules (a + b), held on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. Altogether, Level I and II comprise 12 training days.
The courses are taught in English—a moderate command of the language is sufficient to participate fully.
The cost for Level I or Level II is 1050 Euro. It is possible to participate in Level I only; there is no obligation to continue to Level II.
Lorenzo Freschi is an Italian instructor of the Fascial Manipulation method, certified to teach Level III and IV courses. He is a recognized instructor of this method at the highest level of certification.
Level III in Berlin is also conducted in English and delivered in a hybrid format. The theoretical part takes place online—participants receive one month of access to recorded lectures by a physician on the Stecco Learning Environment platform, included in the course fee. It is possible to extend access to these materials for an additional fee. The practical part consists of three days of in-person classes in Berlin (Friday, Saturday, Sunday), during which participants refine their skills under the guidance of the instructor. The hybrid format allows for flexible acquisition of theoretical knowledge and intensive hands-on practice, significantly facilitating time management and reducing travel and accommodation costs.
The fee for Level III is 750 Euro.
Fascial Manipulation® courses are intended for physiotherapists, osteopaths, chiropractors, physicians, and other licensed healthcare professionals with knowledge of musculoskeletal anatomy, physiology, and neurology.
For detailed information about the course curriculum, please visit the “Course Program” section.
You can find more details about the training in the “Course Description” section.
We also encourage you to watch a short video from the 2024 training in Berlin (instructed by Giorgio Rucli). The lecturer speaks slowly, clearly, and uses simple vocabulary. Therefore, a basic knowledge of English is sufficient to participate in the course.
The Fascial Manipulation® series is intended for physical therapists, osteopaths, chiropractors, medical doctors, and other licensed health care practitioners with a good working knowledge of musculoskeletal anatomy, physiology and neurology. Other practitioners require a minimum of three postgraduate years with courses in anatomy, physiology and biomechanics.
